Section 9 - Policy for Affiliation of Clubs and other Organisations

Background

  1. The UKPSA Constitution describes the overall eligibility of individuals and organisations to apply for membership or affiliation to the Association. This policy supports the constitution by setting out the detailed requirements which Clubs and other organisations must meet in order that their application to affiliate may be approved by the Council.

Application to affiliate to the Association

  1. All applications to affiliate to the Association are managed via our website at the following address:
    https://www.ukpsa.co.uk/club-affiliation/
    An appropriate individual empowered by the organisation should provide the details requested on the website and should note that the offer of affiliation shall be subject to the following:
    1. Receipt of the requisite fee for affiliation.
    2. Acceptance on behalf of the organisation, to abide by the Constitution, rules and byelaws of the association.

Minimum criteria for a shooting club to affiliate to the Association

  1. Any shooting club wishing to affiliate to the Association shall as a minimum:
         Either,
    1. Have at least 3 members who hold a current UKPSA Competition Licence and will commit to entering into a club development programme supported by their Regional Organiser/Area Ambassador to promote the Objects of the Association & IPSC dynamic shooting and marksmanship within their organisation.
    2. or,
    3. The Club Secretary, on behalf of the applicant club, will commit into entering into a club development programme supported by their Regional Organiser/Area Ambassador to promote the Objects of the Association & IPSC dynamic shooting and marksmanship within the club
