Practical shooting is a dynamic marksmanship discipline requiring a blend of accuracy, power, and speed. Competitors engage multiple targets, moving targets, and penalty targets, often navigating obstacles and varying shooting positions. Courses vary in complexity, making each competition unique and challenging.

Practical shooting incorporates many different disciplines which take on the essential principles of dynamic shooting. Each discipline incorporates a variation of practical shooting that is challenging in their own way. These disciplines allow for many ways to enjoy dynamic shooting sports under the same bracket and principles.

Each discipline provides a unique spin on the art of practical shooting. These disciplines have the ability to test the skills of a competitor with the firearm that the discipline represents. These disciplines all share similar rules with slight differences to cater to each firearm.

SHOTGUN

Shotgun competitions utilize various types of shotguns, requiring competitors to quickly engage multiple types of targets, including clays, static, and moving targets, demanding versatility and quick reflexes.

ACTION AIR

Action Air uses airsoft guns to simulate practical shooting scenarios. It provides an accessible way to practice shooting techniques and participate in competitions with an emphasis on speed and precision.

MINI RIFLE

Mini Rifle uses .22LR semi-automatic rifles, challenging competitors with a variety of targets at distances up to 100 meters. It’s an excellent discipline for developing marksmanship and gun-handling skills in a cost-effective way, providing a good training ground for transitioning to larger rifle events.

HANDGUN

Handgun practical shooting involves using pistols and revolvers to engage static and moving targets at various distances. Competitors are tested on precision, speed, and decision-making, with courses designed to challenge accuracy and power.
