The National Squad Director (NSD) has confirmed the latest updates for the 2025 European Shotgun Championship in Buzsák, Hungary, including team selections, individual competitor announcements, and key policies.
Here’s what you need to know:
Team Selections
Teams have been finalised based on historical match results, utilising a modified version of the scoring spreadsheet from the Mini Rifle World Shoot for consistency. This system now incorporates the additional divisions.
The list of teams below reflects current standings and will be updated throughout the 2025 season as new results emerge.
Teams selected:
- Open Division: Heng Fan, Ben Ducker, Sam Crane, Graham Guest
- Modified Division: James Williamson, Dave Dowding, Dan North, Rupert Stanley
- Ladies Standard: Caroline Askew, Amy Sell, Sharon Sell, Vanessa Duffy
- Standard Manual: Matthew Forman, Lewis Trail, Matt Liddy, Conor Kenneally
- Senior Standard: Darren Hopley, Nick Du Plessis, Michael T Siv-Jothy, Kevin Strowger
Individual Competitors
A dedicated group of individual UKPSA members has been selected based on their current or improving performance and contributions to the sport. While we are an individual sport at the base level it should reflect that helping the sport as a whole is a contributing factor to enter to quality matches. This will also be a big factor going towards the next world shoot.

UKPSA Kit Policy & Ceremonial Attire
- Competition Shirts: Provided by Scimitar Sports, competitors will receive a standardized shirt with event-specific logos. A second “base” shirt (without logos) will be issued for use across multiple championships.
- Trousers/Shorts: Navy 5.11 Apex trousers or shorts are mandatory. One pair of trousers is provided per cycle; additional items can be purchased directly via a soon-to-launch UKPSA 5.11 account.
- Sponsor Day: Competitors may wear personal attire.
Awards Dinner Dress Code
- Men: Smart casual (white long-sleeved shirt, UKPSA tie, dark trousers).UKPSA ties will be provided.
- Ladies: Cocktail dresses.
