We are currently seeking an Interim Secretary to join our dynamic team and help us achieve our goals. This will be a short-term appointment covering the period until the next AGM, when a permanent secretary will be voted on.

As the Club Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our association. Your responsibilities will include:
- Organise AGM’s, EGM’s and Council meetings.
- Working with Council members, agree the agenda for Council meetings.
- Send out Calling Notices and supporting documents in a timely manner.
- Ensure all interested parties are provided with meeting links, where required.
- Support the Chair in ensuring that meetings follow bylaws and good etiquette.
- Ensure accurate records are produced of meetings and shared appropriately, including management of action and decision logs.
- Act as Data Protection Officer.
- Deliver responses to Freedom of Information Requests and Subject Access Requests.
- Maintain the Association Risk Register and organise regular reviews
- Support the Chairperson as Safeguarding lead, covering the role in their absence.
- Support the Treasurer as a signatory on the Association bank accounts.
- Support the work of the Regional Director as required.
We expect the normally role to take 3-4 hours per week, depending on workload. It could be possible to take on some of the activities as part of a ‘role share’ agreement.
