Call for Lay Members for the Conduct and Standards Committee

Dear UKPSA Members,

We are seeking dedicated, impartial, and integrity-driven individuals to join the Conduct and Standards Committee (CSC) as lay members. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our association and ensuring fairness in disciplinary matters.

As a lay member, you will attend CSC meetings and participate in decision-making processes that may involve fellow shooters and friends. Your role will be essential in maintaining the integrity of the UKPSA, and therefore, we require members who can demonstrate impartiality and fairness.

Key Qualities Required:
– A high level of integrity and discretion
– Willingness to make impartial decisions in disciplinary matters
– Ability to commit to attending committee meetings

**Selection Process:**
A nomination panel will assess candidates based on their independence and integrity. Recommendations from other members are welcome, and candidates will undergo a review before being offered a position on the committee. The selection process will conclude in mid-October, and successful candidates will attend the next CSC meeting at the end of the month.

If you are interested or know someone who may be suitable, please send your nominations by 10 October 2024 to janina.white@ukpsa.org.

Thank you for your commitment to the continued success of the UKPSA.
