New Match Director’s Handbook – the UKPSA guide to hosting IPSC competitions

New Match Director’s Handbook – the UKPSA guide to hosting IPSC competitions

The UKPSA have issued a new Match Director’s Handbook (MDH) which replaces the 2021 version with immediate effect. This Handbook provides members and clubs with all the information they need to host a UKPSA/IPSC registered or sanctioned competition.

The new MDH can be found on the UKPSA website under ‘Officials’ and then ‘Match Official Documents’ or alternatively by following this link.

The main change is the alignment of the UKPSA mandatory match requirements at Level 2 (National Match) with those contained in the IPSC Rules along with new requirements to ensure the Handbook is compliant with UKPSA policies and our insurance. The MDH has also been updated to provide information about support available and links to key roles across the UKPSA.

The National Range Officers Institute (NROI) plans to hold an online Seminar for any members or clubs interested in hosting UKPSA events on Saturday October 19, 2024 from 1000-1200.

As well as any changes to previous editions, the seminar will explain how to:
  • Register a match with the UKPSA/IPSC
  • Obtain UKPSA and/or IPSC Sanction for a Level 2 or 3 match
  • Access support for your match
For those of you that would like to attend, please let Jason Clarke know (jason.clarke@ukpsa.org) and he will collate everyone’s details. Please include your name, email address and details of anything relevant that you’d like to have covered in the Seminar. Send in this information please by 30 September 2024.
